Tymek channels A Powerful Sensation for Ploom Milan Design Week 2025 collaboration

Tymoteusz Bucki, also known as Tymek, is one of six designers that participated in the Milan Design Week 2025 collaboration to reinterpret sensoriality and design a limited-edition front panel for Ploom X Advanced. ​

Ploom’s immersive experience at Milan Design Week 2025 illustrated that when creative worlds connect, sensational things happen. The Ploom interactive exhibition space used video, motion sensors and a multi-sensory experience of Ploom’s heated tobacco device to explore connected sensations, launching the limited edition front panel collection.

Connected by a passion for creativity and unique experiences​

Tymek’s Ploom X Advanced front panel design, A Powerful Sensation, is captivating in its pure simplicity. It is made more powerful by conveying nature through a stripped back aesthetic. ​

“Sensoriality is, above all, about closeness, but also a sense of security.” he adds. “It’s a feeling that awakens the desire to melt into pleasure. Sensoriality is lightness.” ​

His collaboration with Ploom has illustrated a shared passion for creativity and appreciation for unique experiences, like the heated tobacco pleasure of Ploom X Advanced.

Where Ploom and pleasure meet in multisensory experiences​

“Pleasure, for me, is the ability to experience positive emotions both sensually and physically,” he explains. “It’s the moment when we can immerse ourselves in fleeting moments that stay in our memory for a long time.” ​

His panel design captures symbolic lightness through an old-school tattoo aesthetic. The swallow and rowan tree reference Polish folklore, while their stylization highlights its contemporary presence in new, unexpected forms of expression. The focus is on redefining and exploring identity.

“From the very beginning of our collaboration with Ploom, we knew that being involved in the project would bring many great memories to both sides and allow us to inspire each other,” he explains. “The brand, more than any other, offers a space for self-expression and unique experiences.”
